The Pregnancy Calendar is Finally Here!

It’s done! I finally finished the Pregnancy Calendar!

Remember when I said I was going to do it and you were all “Yay, I just found that I’m pregnant!” So as you zip a coat on that two-year old, you can see how I excel at procrastination.

I thought it was going to be really easy. You know, I know some stuff about pregnancy so all I have to do is write a couple lines about how your baby is the size of a peanut and we’re good to go. After all, the hard part is programming and Natalie from Baby List said that she’d do all that for me. Awesome!

Except I quickly figured out that a lot of shit goes down during pregnancy (my two pregnancies should have given me a clue to this) and I wanted to find a balance between funny and informative so I ended up getting a little frozen in indecision.

Finally Natalie emailed me and said, “How do I make this happen for you?” and did everything short of holding my hand and telling me that I was pretty so I’d get the molasses out of my ass and get it done. I will be forever grateful.

I finally got it churned out so you can have 42 weeks of glorious Burd to see you through your pregnancy riddled with sparkling entertainment, valuable information and gross grammatical errors.

Thank you all for your support and your kind words about this little project. I especially appreciate the emails letting me know where the errors are so I’m not horrified that I typed ‘you’re’ instead of ‘your’ like someone that says, “Can you be more pacific?”

I wish each and every one of you sat next to me in high school – we would have partied hard and had crazy 80s hair but I have no doubt I would have had better report cards.

Hope you like it and stay tuned for more posts now that I have this monkey (dressed in a shearling coat) off my back.

Bawk!
